I'm trying to make hand made t-shirt recently, it nearly getting there! everyday i try to make it something missing then it taking while but tomorrow i gonna try to put it on the T-shirt and see how it gonna turn out !

When you love someone too strong it could be the case of bad relationship.
It creates massive jealous and it might kill each other in emotional way.

this is my personal work that i wanted to experiment to put together. I tried to show life event  in this work. people in love and break up. happiness coming along and then you are feeling alone.
this is modern life we living.

合縁奇縁 a relationship formed due to a strange turn of fate

今日から諺をイラストにするのを日課にする事にしました。
今回は、合縁奇縁です。

合縁奇縁：男女、夫婦、また友人、知人に至るまで、人間関係がうまくいくのも
いかないのも、すべて縁次第。縁は、理屈では説明出来ない不思議なものである。

これをみて赤い糸を思い人と人が、どこか体の一部で繋がりつつ何か見えないもの（赤い糸）によって繋がっているのを表してみました。

I decided to draw japanese proverb everyday (as much as possible..)

today's one " a relationship formed due to a strange turn of fate".

in asia or japan we believe that red string as traditionally fated lovers are joined by this unseen string, tired around one little finger of each. that's why i put red string around the people in this illustration.

collaboration with Aya Takeshima's knitting textile

I did another collaboration with Aya Takeshima's knitting textile. She studies Fashion Design with knitwear in Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. Her textiles are pop and cute. It is always fun to do collaborations! 

Weekend Affair Project with Rosa

 few weeks ago I met Rosa around Brick lane, she asked me to take picture of me for her project.
After that she told me about her Weekend Affair Project.

 Her project is about collaborate with other artists 3 days in the weekend. And last weekend, me and Rosa decided to make the little book together.

 When Rosa arrived at my flat, Rosa showed me the photos she took near Brick lane few weeks ago, she took few people's photos. and she told me one of the model who called Calvin. He studied law and now he studying philosophy. While she was taking his pictures, he asked her " what is the meaning of life?" few times and he told her that he doesn't like digital photos then he said he prefer analog photography. When I heard the conversation between Rosa and Calvin, I found Calvin is quite funny.
Therefore we decided to make a story about Calvin who I've never met.

We only got the informations about him is his catch parse "What is the meaning of life?" and he wore bath robe instead of winter coat. and of course his pictures (digital photos). also we put the idea of "Fool on the hill" by The beatls.

and then Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We made this story. We wanted to make it as it makes no sense but at some point it makes sense.

　　これは、カルヴィンという青年の話です。カルヴィンは、エレガントそしてすこし高慢ちきな青年でした。カルヴィンは、法律の勉強をしているにもかかわらず、人生の意味について考えるのが好きでした。カルヴィンには、イズラという魚の恋人がいました。

カルヴィンは、彼の英知をよく語りました。彼は、兎に角よくしゃべりました。カルヴィンは、ほとんどの人が彼の事を理解出来ない事を知っていました、なぜなら彼らは、人生の意味を知らないから。カルヴィン自身さえ人生の意味を知りませんでした。

「カルヴィン、なんで君は、魚を恋人にしているんだね？」人々が彼に尋ねると、彼は、しばしば不機嫌そうに「人生の意味をさえ知らない君になぜ答える必要があるのかい？」と答えました。

　　　それからして、人々はカルヴィンに質問するのをやめました、更に彼に話しかけるのもやめました。そしてカルヴィンの話し相手は、彼の恋人の魚のイズラだけになりました。それにもかかわらず、彼の独りよがりの話は、つきませんでした。そしてカルヴィンは、人生の意味についてより考えるにつれ気がめいって来てしまいました。

ある日、カルヴィンは、彼の話を聞いてくれる人が彼の魚の恋人のイズラ以外にいないことに、耐えられなくなりました。そして、魚の恋人のイズラは、話返してくれた事がありませんでした。カルヴィンは、イズラに言いました。「僕の愛しいイズラ、君は、ずっと僕が話す言葉を聞いていてくれたね、でも、僕は、けして君に尋ねた事はなかったね　イズラ、君には、人生の意味が分かるかい？」

イズラは、カルヴィンを見上げそして、柔らかな小さな声で、ささやきました。「４２」と。

イズラがしゃべったのと、人生の意味の答えを 得たカルヴィンの目は、衝撃のあまりどんどん大きくなり、彼の頭が、かち割れ中から巨大な魚が出てきました。カルヴィンは、ずっと魚だったのでした。

「なぜカルヴィンは、魚だったのか？」。。「なぜ説明する必要があるのでしょうか、人生の意味さえ知らないあなた達に」

This article is about "Reversi game" designed  for people got disability such as blindness.
I drew Sun and Moon as players because they can't see each other. They are too bright to see each other then they need to play the game with closed eyes. Also I like the story about stars in the blue sky. They are always there but we just can't see. It means there are things we never able to see but truth is not always clear and visible. We tend to depend what we can see as visual but sometimes we need to doubt about what we see.
Is it really telling us pure informations? or is there something behind what we really need to know?

今回は、オセロゲームのイラストレーションを描かせていただきました。このオセロは、目の不自由な方にも楽しんでいただける様に工夫されているデザインになっています。
太陽と月を対戦相手にしたのは、太陽と月は、お互いが眩しくて見えないから目をつぶってゲームをしなければならないというコンセプトからです。わたしが、最近読んだ本に、昼間の星という言葉が、出てきました。それは、青い空に本当は、星達が存在しているはずなのに太陽の光で見えない。けれど、そこに星があるのは、まぎれも無い真実である。普段私たちは、目に見える事、情報に頼って生きていますが、目に見える事だけが、すべてではない。時に真実は、目に見えず私たちが、見えてるものを全て鵜呑みにしないで考えてからそれを真実なのかまたは、作られた情報なのか？　自分の心の目で見る必要があるのだと思います。

This issue theme is dress up for disable people. In my opinion, we can dress up whatever we want.
Of course, sometimes you need to care where you are. obviously you can't wear wedding dress at someone's wedding and same as funeral.. but otherwise, you can enjoy your own style. If you love one of your cloth so much but you need to wash sometimes for sure... anyway, I believe fashion make people little bit happier! if you feeling down, wear something colourfull you might feel bit cheerful !

Behind The Scene Nozomilkyway solo show

1st -3rd March 2012, I did the solo exhibition at Monty's bar in Brick Lane in London.

It was great experience to do the show by myself. I had lots of help and support from my friends.Many Thanks!

Nozomi Hoshikawa’s solo show, Behind the Scenes, presents a new series inspired by the dark side of glittering scenarios such as Circus and Burlesque, whilst maintaining the playfulness that is characteristic of both this universe and her own previous work.

In her suitcase assemblages, circus and burlesque imagery and characters are portrayed in their external beauty and playfulness. However, in her drawings she plays with the text to transcend this fantasy and suggest that the ability, and commitment, to shine and entertain might conceal a much more complex emotional life, neurotically oscillating between brutality and perversion, enjoyment and power.

Nozomi suggests that many metaphorical parallels can be traced between this universe and ordinary people’s lives. Not just in that everyone suppresses feelings, but also in the sense of not fitting in or not belonging, that here is exacerbated by circumstances- be it disabilities exploited in the freak shows of old circus tradition or in the nomadic aspect of the travelling entertainer. She suggests that these feelings might be experienced to some degree by anyone at some point in their lives. The artist tries to imagine the complexity of these artists’ life experiences, their reasons for working in such careers, their points of view and how this relates to her own personal interior universe.

11.Mar.2011 there was huge earthquake in Japan and we lots so many precious people.

it's almost one year but there are still many problems.

especially, nuclear power generation. I'm not really know about this but We really need to consider about this problem. I don't think having nuclear power is good idea...

i worked for Silver industry news paper. It is about accessible design. This issue is about hearing difference by age. Young people can hear high tone. On the other side, when you getting older and older, you losing ability of hearing high tone and it is easy you to hear low sound.

According this situation, some electricity company, they use alarm sound not too high tone because of this fact. Your consideration make the world better place.
